Being back at home also means being back in the comfort of your own kitchen-feels good to be back in the kitchen baking and cooking! I still cook in college from time to time, but there are less restrictions when at home because you have more ingredients and more materials. This recipe is super simple and easy, so be sure to give this a try!
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup melted margarine/butter
Mix 1/4 cup sugar and ground cinnamon in bowl, set aside.
Stir flour, 1/2 cup sugar, baking powder, nutmeg and salt in bowl.
In separate bowl, beat egg and add milk and melted margarine/butter.
Add egg mixture to flour mixture.
Place in muffin tin (you can use paper bake cups), filling 2/3 full.
Bake at 350 °F for 20-25 mintutes, or until golden.
Dip tops in 3 tbs melted margarine, then into sugar-cinnamon mixture.
Serve warm and enjoy! (Makes 12)

When these babies are done cooking, spread the melted margarine on top of the muffins and dip away!
Yum oh yum.
Bon appétit! ♥
