Costa Rica is absolutely picture perfect and I will never be able to get over how naturally gorgeous this place is. I have and always will love living with the ocean as my backyard, and one of the blessings that comes with living where I live is beautiful sunsets. But I’m not exaggerating when I say that this sunset in Costa Rica was the most beautiful sunset I’ve seen in my entire life. Nothing beats the moment of pure awe you feel when the sun slowly starts to drop in the ocean, brightening up the sky into vibrant hues of orange, pink, blue, yellow and purple, and the ocean almost seems like it’s been light on fire, glimmering and glowing continually until the sun finally crawls behind the horizon. It’s an absolutely breathtaking, heart-stopping, overwhelming sight and I will never forget how extraordinary that moment was-just my sister and I laughing, screaming and looking up at the sky because we’ve never seen anything like it before. Thank you Costa Rica for all the simple little moments such as these.
After our past three days in Costa Rica (Day 1, Day 2 and Day 3), we drove over to Manuel Antonio to spend the next few days of our vacation. Manuel Antonio is famous for its beautiful beaches, and this was hands down my favorite beach I have ever been to. Warm waters, the soft waves, an incredible view in every direction that you look, and an even more magnificent sunset? What beats that? I will say this once and I will say it again-Costa Rica, I am in love with you. I am IN LOVE!!
Some crocodiles that were just chilling out right underneath a bridge that we drove over. Whoa.
Honestly, what’s better than this view??
Just a glimpse of what you’re about to see.
Ta-dah!!! You just can’t stop showing off how beautiful you are, can you, Costa Rica? Seriously, I still cannot get over this. These are the moments that take my breath away and fill me up with so much happiness that I can’t contain it and I just end up screaming and jumping up and down and running up and down along the beach because it’s just too beautiful and I can’t handle.
As we headed back to the hotel, I took one glimpse back at the beach, and this was the view. This is like postcard perfect.
Being able to experience pure joy in such pure beauty-I think that’s pura vida ♥
